Eerst wilde ik een lieve tekening maken, want ik heb alleen goede herinneringen aan mijn eigen opa's. Maar besloot een 'gekkere' richting in te slaan. Een soort van generatie kloofje of zo, tussen kleinkind en opa.

Drinking (or "post-drinking")
Later than I originally intended, but here it is. I was inspired by the linelessness of Karlijn's version of "Drinking". It's actually more of a "post-drinking" kind of picture... don't you just love hangovers? Oh, and I did this one completely on the computer (which I almost never do). It took me a while to adjust to the whole tablet drawing, but I'm beginning to manage...

Mountain
You know the "dodge" and "burn" tool in photoshop? Well, I thought: hey, let's try that for once. Now I remember why I never use it: when I do everything turns out looking like plastic. Like this mountain, for instance. I was thinking of Bob Ross when I did this.

Children
My apologies for the horrid quality of the sketches. I did them while riding a bus and I only had my phone with me, so I took a picture of them. The lighting was not stellar, as you can see.
My version of "Children", a bit later than originally intended, but there it is. My view of the little runts is a bit less rosy I guess. It was fun to drawing this nonetheless :)
Tried doing this one in a more 'traditional' way, with just ink. It went fairly well, I liked doing exaggerated characters, but the layout for the whole thing is a bit wonky.
